What your colleagues have said about the course...

Dr Dora, Dentist

“Darron was an exceptional presenter – engaging, approachable, enthusiastic and highly knowledgeable about his discipline. The course content was very relevant to a lot of patients that we see in clinic so even if I do not undertake the therapy (but refer to Darron), being able to explain TMD to patients better, is of great benefit. This course is well structured and delivered and covers a huge body of data pertaining to a growing field of dentistry.”

Tracy McLaughlin, Orofacial myologist/ Dental hygienist

“The 5-STEP TMD Course with Darron Goralsky from the Melbourne TMJ & Facial Pain Centre was incredibly informative and practical. Darron shared his extensive knowledge in a clear and engaging way, making complex concepts easy to understand. The hands-on training was especially valuable — it allowed me to apply what I learned immediately and gain confidence in providing effective pain relief for patients. I highly recommend this course to anyone looking to expand their understanding and clinical skills in managing TMJ and facial pain Tracy McLaughlin  Orofacial Myologist/Dental Hygienist.”

Dr Yuky Cheung

“I highly recommend any dentist interested in TMD to attend this course. The course was well structured and gave me an in-depth understanding on musculoskeletal head and neck pain. Darron and the team have profound knowledge and experience in treating patients with TMD. The hands on component was well guided by Darron, Shane and Kate. The 5-step protocol is easy to follow. I feel more confident in diagnosing and helping my patients with TMD.”

Dr Michelle Mun, Dentist

“Highly recommend this course – it gave me the practical skills and confidence to better help my TMD patients. The musculoskeletal-focused approach fills an important gap for dentists who want to go beyond splint therapy and truly understand what’s driving their patients’ symptoms.”

Dr Sui Kong, Dentist

“Darron is a great presenter and very passionate about teaching. He is a rare physio that is able to traverse to the dental world and has a clear understanding of what dentists are looking for. I found the hands on component to be invaluable especially with the aid of 3 qualified physiotherapists. I have definitely come away with lots of new tools to help me diagnose and manage my patient’s jaw pain. Thank you!”

Dr Meredith Metin, Dentist

“Comprehensive course on TMD from a different perspective which was very informative.”

Dr Abeer Kamil

“I highly recommend the TMD 5 steps protocol course. From the start, the level of professionalism was outstanding. Everything was well organised, making the learning process seamless and stress-free. The instructors’ commitment to punctuality meant no time was wasted, allowing us to maximize our learning hours. Most importantly, the quality of training I received has directly enhanced my clinical skills. A truly exceptional program!”

Natalie Katers - Oral Hygienist & Myofunctional Therapist

This course was a deep dive into orofacial pain and the dental patient – and I can honestly say it was not what I expected.

What set this course apart from others is that Darron is not a dentist – he is a physiotherapist who collaborates closely with the dental industry. This perspective brought a completely different and refreshing approach to understanding TMD and orofacial pain.

The course was extremely well delivered and went beyond the typical TMD presentation. We learnt practical, hands-on skills for assessing patients with myofascial and joint-related pain, and more importantly, techniques to help release this pain in the muscles and joints around the TMJ. Learning how to assess the cervical connections was also an invaluable addition to the education toolkit.

While the entire course was excellent, what stood out most were Darron’s case studies and how clinically relevant they were to the dental world. Interestingly, they weren’t all TMD cases. His ability to present different dental scenarios and break down how to examine, assess, treat and refer patients made the learning incredibly practical and directly applicable to everyday practice.

I left the course feeling that almost every patient could benefit from some of the myofascial release skills we learnt.

As a dental hygienist, I sometimes feel limited in scope when it comes to helping patients with orofacial pain. However, this course provided practical skills that I can confidently incorporate into daily clinical practice.

Whether you are a dentist, OHT, hygienist, or someone who has previously attended TMD training, I can hand on heart recommend Darron’s course. It is a valuable addition to your clinical toolkit and one that will ultimately benefit your patients.

Dr Anna Taylor – Dentist

“Thank you for simplifying screening and diagnosis into a clear, practical system. I was able to quickly assess a patient with jaw pain and confidently identify it as a muscular issue rather than joint-related. This course has truly improved my confidence in examination and patient advice.”

Dr Josephine Ly – Dentist

“A very well-structured course that boosted my confidence in patient education, especially around tongue tie, OSA, bruxism, and TMD. The practical techniques were highly useful—not just for my patients, but also for everyday understanding. Highly recommended.”

“As a dentist who has worked on TMD/MPD cases for decades, the sequence of treatments is important. There are few cases where the masticatory muscles and neck and shoulder muscles are not involved even if the primary diagnosis is TMJD. As such, my first line of treatment is invariably physiotherapy from highly experienced therapists. Only once this physio has progressed well in symptom relief, do I consider any type of splint or orthotic with the use of Botox being way down the list. Often physiotherapy is all the treatment required. Darron is a pioneer in this line of work and his training is exceptional. I cannot highly enough recommend attending this course by Darron Goralsky.”

Dr Bob Gibbins, BDSC (HONS) QLD - Dentist

Darron has a unique ability to present complex concepts in a way that is incredibly easy to understand, making the learning process both enjoyable and effective. As a dental hygienist & Myofunctional therapist I found the methods particularly relevant to my work, especially in addressing issues related to facial muscles and jaw pain in my Clinic. The techniques and knowledge gained from Darron  have been invaluable in enhancing my practice. If you have the opportunity to attend any event or course that Darron is involved in, I highly encourage you to take it.
