COVID 19 & DHHS Guidelines
As Melbourne continues to be challenged by the everchanging COVID 19 situation, we remain vigilant in our efforts to keep you safe as well as complaint with all advice received from the DHHS and our Professional Bodies. In most recent times we have been permitted to continue to deliver appropriate face-face treatment.
- If you are currently unwell and experiencing any COVID19 related symptom.
- If you have been exposed to anyone who has tested positive for COVID19.
- If anyone you work with directly or live with is waiting for COVID test results.
REFERRALS – You do not need a referral to see us.
TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS – Despite these being in place from time to time, these do not apply when travelling to a medical type appointment. As such travelling to attend our permitted Allied Health Services has always been permitted.
Our practice has a COVID – SAFE Plan in place.
We have taken extreme best practice measures to ensure the safety of you, our valued patients and our wonderful team. These have included removing reception furniture, separate waiting areas for each consulting room, enclosing our reception desk with a protective perspex barrier, implementing touchless payment processes, implementing a touchless payment processes, constant surface disinfecting measures, the use of personal protective equipment for our team, taking temperatures (when required) and asking patients to sanitise their hands on entering. We are asking for your help by arriving right on time, wearing a SURGICAL face mask (when required) if you have one, bring a clean towel to lie on and then avoiding touching any surfaces during your appointment.
Protective measures implemented will vary based on the guidelines and situation at the time of your visit.
