Nick Usui-Crook

Nick is a very experienced osteopath with over 16 years of clinical experience and advanced training in the Goralsky Craniomandibular Method. His five years of osteopathic university training, combined with further study under internationally recognised manual therapy educators, give him a strong foundation in understanding the complex muscle and joint inter-relationships involved in TMJ-related concerns.

Nick shares our team’s approach of a clear diagnostic framework, skilled hands-on techniques, and our focus on teaching patients practical strategies they can use at home. He enjoys helping people understand why their symptoms occur, as this often makes change more achievable. Nick’s approach includes guidance on posture, breathing, sleep position and everyday habits that influence jaw and neck function, giving patients a simple and empowering plan forward.

Nick’s loyal clientele appreciate his professional yet personable manner, and the way he communicates complex issues in a clear and positive way that helps them understand their condition with confidence. He listens to what matters most to each person and keeps the focus on supporting their goals — whether that’s easing pain, improving sleep or returning to a more comfortable and enjoyable life.

Nick is a husband and father who enjoys Japanese culture, practising kendo with his teenage son, spending time outdoors with his dog Kena, travelling when he can, and discovering good coffee. He believes life is best lived with curiosity, movement and gratitude — values he brings into the way he supports every patient he meets.
